Christmas Cards

Christmas Cards are one of my favorite things during the holiday season. The first card usually arrives around Thanksgiving and the daily excitement of going to the mailbox commences! This is also my reminder to print my own cards.

Christmas Cards Are Arriving!

We have beautiful stamp choices this year. I love anything with a piece of art on it. The simplicity of the silhouette in the desert is quite graphic.

Christmas Stamps

A few years ago, I put together a scrapbook of cards I received that year. I used pieces of Christmas wrap and stamps from that year to work in with the cards. It’s fun to take it out and see how friends and family have grown. Yes, of course, I need to do last year’s and catch up! As you can see, I love plaid!

Christmas Scrapbook

This year for my card, I used one of my New Orleans photos of Cafe’ Brulot. This Creole tradition is a coffee and spice mixture with orange curacao and flaming brandy. And of course, the pups made the back!

It’s Turkey Day!

Audubon’s Bird’s of America: The Wild Turkey Cock – Plate #1.

Mr. Audubon made The Wild Turkey Cock Plate #1. The image was drawn near St. Francisville where Mr. Audubon roamed the woods in the Felicianas. This is a framed Amsterdam Edition.  The Turkey is magnificent!
